Who We Are
Sparks Academy is a hands-on STEAM school in Kerrisdale, Vancouver, dedicated to developing creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving in children ages 3–15.
Through our after school programs, weekly classes, summer camps, and STEAM Nights, we help children discover what they're capable of — and give them the confidence and skills to thrive in a world that's changing fast.

What Makes Us Different
Hands-On, Project-Based Learning
Every class is built around doing — not watching. From engineering challenges and coding projects to robotics builds and AI experiments, children engage with concepts through activities that make learning stick.
Aligned with BC Curriculum and NGSS
Our programs are developed in line with the BC Curriculum and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), combining academic rigour with creative exploration. We use a Know–Do–Understand model: helping children grasp key concepts, develop real skills, and build lasting understanding.
Real-World Connections
We connect every lesson to the world beyond the classroom — from technology and climate action to design thinking and global citizenship. Our programs align with the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, giving children a sense of purpose alongside their learning.
